Welcome to Nepal and the start of our adventure!
We will be on hand to greet you upon your arrival and be with you every step of the way till the adventure ends. After transferring you to your hotel in Kathmandu, depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening at your leisure. We’ll have a final briefing in the evening and then turn in early in advance of a big day tomorrow.

Rise and shine in buzzing Kathmandu! After breakfast at your hotel, we’ll embark on the first leg of our adventure – a 6 to 8 hours bus ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara. You’ll spend a night at Pokhara; a scenic town at the base of the Annapurna Range before we start our trek the following morning.

After an early breakfast in Pokhara, we’ll take a short 30 minutes drive to Nayapul and kick-start our first day trek through small villages of Chomrong, Syauli Bazar and Chane, which gives you an opportunity to look at the panorama views of the Annapurna ranges. We’ll reach Ghandruk at the end of today’s trek, and if the weather permits, we get to see the spectacular view of Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli mountains. Overnight stay in Tea house.

Today, we hike through Ghandruk before a steep descent to Kimron River, and up to the lofty Gurung village of Chhomrong – a great place situated at the lap of mighty Annapurna massif where we’ll spend a night. On our way we we’ll see the great view of Annapurna South and Fishtail mountain. Overnight stay in Tea house.

The trail from Chomrong descends first on stone staircases to cross Chomrong Khola and follow by a steep uphill climb all the way to Sinuwa. It can be a very hot day as we will be trekking mostly under the sun and on steep stairways. After Sinuwa the trails enters into the forests and it goes up and down all the way to Dovan. Overnight stay in Tea house.

Today’s trail will first pass through the damp and cold bamboo forest before we ascend steadily with a few steep sections. The forest opens up with astounding views of the glacial river after passing through Himalaya Hotel and we’ll continue with a steep climb up before reaching Hinku Cave and the most scenic route of today’s trek – Deurali. We will stop for a short lunch break at Deurali to re-fuel our energy as the hike to Machhapuchhre Base Camp can be considered strenuous. But it will be all worth it as we get excellent views of the majestic Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna from Machhapuchhre base camp which is certainly a rewarding experience. Overnight stay in Tea house.

The trail to Annapurna Base Camp widens as we enter the Annapurna sanctuary. From here, we get sensational 360-degree panorama views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above us without any obstruction. We again get to savor awestruck views of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna south, Annapurna I and other peaks from the base camp. Overnight stay in Tea house.

One last mesmerizing sunrise view of Annapurna range and we’ll make our way down the mountain. Our trek today ends in the village of Bamboo, named for the dense forest of tall bamboo that surrounds it. Overnight stay in Tea house.

Today’s trail starts with an uphill trek to Kuldighar followed by a downhill walk to Chhomrong Khola before the infamous stone steps to Chhomrong. The trail then descends to where we will be resting for the night at Jhinu Danda. We will also have the opportunity to enjoy hot springs just 15 – 20 minutes away from where we stay to soothe our aching body. Overnight stay in Tea house.

Today’s trail is a fairly easy one from Jhinu Danda to Nayapul. On the way, we get to enjoy the beautiful hill landscape of Western Nepal before we board our transport back to Pokhara where we’ll be staying for a night. Driving from Jhinu Danda to Pokhara can be another option for your tired legs. Overnight in Pokhara and depending on the time you arrived, you may have time to do more sightseeing, relax, or check out one of the Pokhara’s coffee shops.

We will take an early morning bus back to Kathmandu. You’ll be transferred to your hotel upon reaching and enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening at your leisure to catch up on your much-needed rest. Otherwise, you have the entire capital at your fingertips for sightseeing before you depart tomorrow. Your conquest of the Himalayas is complete! We’ll meet up one last time for a celebratory dinner at one of the town’s finest Nepalese restaurants.
It’s your last day in Nepal! Grab some breakfast and take in some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu before we’ll say our goodbyes and bid you farewell. We’ll make sure you arrive at the Airport with plenty time before your flight home and have everything you need to leave well!
